Steph came up huge with the idol and immunity wins. She was also willing to go to rocks for the rest of her team and them for her, so if you guys are pushing how special you were to each other, these 3 had that for each other. Steph was a challenge beast pre-merge and I think she took a backseat to me and Kristina, in both challenges and strategy, post-merge until we either got knocked out/knocked each other out and that's when she'd step up and start making plays and that's what it looks like she did. There was no big move for anyone, so it's hard to give any of these 3 credit. There was one big move in the game and that was getting me out and none of the 3 were involved in that. No one really came through on getting someone to flip. I think she has some good points she can make and I'm anxious to hear her present her case.
Mike was voted the least trustworthy in Ovambo because he came in late and was going to go home if we lost that last pre-merge challenge until he and I did some selling of some other options. Post-merge he got all the votes immediately so despite being on the bottom, that probably solidified him as tight with Ovambo incl. Ralph Julie and Kristina. He also was the one who put together the alliance of 4 between me, him, Steph and David. I think that deserves props as a solid game move when there aren't a lot of obvious game moves to name. That's why I think they will have to argue their plays tonight because it's really anyone's game. I was probably Mike's biggest ally, he always told me his plan and while they never really came to fruition, he definitely had some good, reasonable game moves in his sights. I'm looking forward to his argument.
Like Mike, I think I was probably Davids biggest ally up until I went home. He'd tell me his plans and vice versa and he had some good plans that, like Mike, never really saw any daylight. It's tough for me to argue on anyone's behalf because I don't know exactly what they were thinking, only what they told me. They both had game moves they wanted to make, just didn't have the opportunity I guess (while I was in the game). I don't know much after I left and won't begin to speculate. I defended his "flip" on Kristina and l think he had a lot of posturing for jury votes and it's obviously working. David was always shrewd in his decision making and at times had me thinking "wtf?", so I'm curious to see what he'll have to say.
That's just from my POV, so I don't know if that is helpful at all. I want to hear what they have to say for themselves because clearly not many, if any, of you spent a significant amount of time talking to them, specifically game with them. I think all three used me as a shield for as long as possible, and Kristina to a lesser degree as well but we both got knocked out back to back pretty early, and after that I don't know. They stuck together but I'm sure that was parts of being in an alliance together and parts convenience/necessity. If you're all going to base your votes on things that happened in the very last immunity challenge and tribal council, I have nothing to add.
