Yeah to be honest, I was up really late after going out to the bar, and then I log on and see Papa Bear mingling in Ovambo's Camp, that was certainly a site to see to say the least, haven't been able to rid that image all day/night

Maybe you'll see me go home Julie, then I'm sure you'd be able to stop whining.

The rules of the challenge said to put the giraffes side-by-side. I have spent the last 20 minutes trying to put the side-by-side. I had them vertically, vertically would have been easy...

I'm hardly whining, you sound a bit like a sore loser or someone who was clearly outed no?

The puzzles are all vertical so like

Giraffe #1 Giraffe #2 Giraffe #3 Giraffe #4

back to back will all be in one post. It's a giraffes neck so its one vertical column of 8 stackable pieces.

Poor Rick.

You sound like somebody who is trying to take control of this game in a big way by trying to turn Nama against me, and maybe somebody you're tribe should probably watch out for when we send you guys to tribal.

I apologize Rick, ultimately I reread the rules and I felt like it wasn't clear enough to overrule their posting. That is how it was originally intended, but I spoke with my co hosts and we all agreed that it was too vague to penalize them fore.

Again, unfortunate, but it's what we decided. The other tribe could make the case that it wasn't clearly specified.

I think my tribe thinks I'm pretty trustworthy ^_^

Well if you're the mole its obviously stupid for them to boot you, they can get the HII by sending you over this way. But I guess sending you on your way would be fine too ^_^ they'll miss out on the opportunity though

Poor Rick.

I saw this post, my point is that he was stating that the giraffes are each a vertical column of 8 pieces, that's true, but when he says to post the giraffes like this:

Giraffe #1 Giraffe #2 Giraffe #3 Giraffe #4

Rather than like this:

Giraffe #1
Giraffe #2
Giraffe #3
Giraffe #4

It confused me. I was trying to but the giraffes next to each other, as would be indicated in example #1 above, rather than top-to-bottom like example #2

Maybe next time the rules can be made a little more clearer when you say "Side-by-side" and then "vertical" and then showing us the giraffe diagram as horizontal with "Giraffe #1 Giraffe #2 Giraffe #3 Giraffe #4". Something like this could obviously cause some confusion.

Jeff Probst wrote:It is then the leaders job to rearrange the four unscrambled giraffe's side by side to form one word. They will then post the four unscrambled giraffes in the correct order side by side in the main puzzle thread.

The first tribe to do this correctly wins Immunity.

And you're right, Rick, that is how the challenge was designed. But as I stated, we don't feel like that was specified clearly and therefore would be unfair to take away their win. I'm sorry but that's the way this thing goes. I should have been more clear.

I interpreted it as side-by-side in two separate posts. Here:

Jeff Probst wrote:It is then the leaders job to rearrange the four unscrambled giraffe's side by side to form one word. They will then post the four unscrambled giraffes in the correct order side by side in the main puzzle thread.

and here:

Jeff Probst wrote:Giraffe #1 Giraffe #2 Giraffe #3 Giraffe #4

I understand that your word is final, Jeff, I am just making my case. If your ruling is that the orientation was not a part of the challenge, that's fine. I would respectfully disagree with that ruling as I felt it was clearly stated that that giraffes needed to be side by side.

I will go along with your decision though.
